The Tulum outpost of the Playa hipster cantina is at the edge of town, but it’s worth the drive for a fresh, light take on traditional tacos and mariscos and seafood served with lots of lime, chile sauce, and creativity. Batter-fried shrimp on a bed of hydroponic letuce, grouper with avocado and cucumber and lots of lime, and tacos de pescado are all good bets. After lunch, try your hand at the foosball table in back, but you can’t while the night away here—it’s only open from 12:30 to 7:30.
very good food
The food was very good. The service was excellent. And the price was well worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone who wants good food a reasonable price.
